What do we mean by "less not more" ? Modular, Reversible, Capsule & Built To Last

I first conceived the idea for Movement Global on the top of Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa. I had spent since dark hours of the morning climbing up the famous peak. It was exhausting and exhilarating. At the top, looking out over the vast country where I was born I had an epiphany. I had been working in the fashion industry since I was a little girl, owned my own import stores, and even helped found LuLu Lemon.

What I really wanted was a line of clothing that didn't take from the beautiful world in which we live. I wanted a sustainable line of clothing, I wanted all the pieces to work together seamlessly and modularly, I wanted them to be classic - not seasonal, and I wanted to give back to the world by having that line support a charity - or even better, that the line could create work for small businesses in any country it was being fashioned.

20 years later we are a proudly Canadian-made sustainable, fair paid, clothing company that does all those things.

Many of our customers have become friends, and many still have pieces of Movement from 20 years ago! The pieces not only hold up, they still look classically fashionable.

That's what we mean by less, not more. We use the highest quality fabrics and thread so your item will last. Our styles may look simple, but we spend months, and sometimes years thinking about and designing each piece so it's a part of the whole, and will stand the test of time.

In this world, where so much is throw away, we want to produce quality clothing that can last you a lifetime.
